South Africa-based InsurTech startup Click2Sure has reportedly raised a multi-million investment from SixThirty.
With the fresh equity injection, the InsurTech plans to further the development of its technology and reach more customers, according to a report from IT Web.
Another benefit of the funding round will be to give Click2Sure access to SixThirty’s US network, helping it to “get a foot in the door” and gear the platform for launch in the country. International growth plans are on the startup’s minds, with plans to move into other countries in Africa, as well as Europe and America planned for the near future.
The InsurTech, which was launched in 2017, is an online platform that helps to bring digitalised services to businesses. Its technology can support distribution, pricing, underwriting, claims, policy admin, one customer view, reporting and business intelligence.
Click2Sure’s previous funding round came in 2018 from Greenlight Re Innovations. The size of that investment as also undisclosed.
