Financial software development company TrueNorth has collaborated with Codat with the aim to integrate its API solution for Codat’s financial institution clients.
The partnership will give the clients direct access to a software engineering implementation team.
TrueNorth’s software solution is said to make the implementation process of bringing products to market cost-effective and claims to be averaging at about three to six months for minimum viable product.
Codat CEO Pete Lord is bullish about the prospects of the partnership and said that it will “bring our single API solution to financial institutions of all sizes.”
Codat, which helps link internal systems of small businesses to financial institutions, provides an API solution that is used by financial institution to get consented access to their customer’s financial data therefore removing the tedious task of manual uploading. The software also helps gain an up-to-date overview of a firm’s financial status.
The British tech firm claimed that its API solution is already being used by more than 60,000 small businesses who share their data with a plethora of Codat’s clients including Clearbanc, PayPal, Experian, Allianz and some Tier 1 banks.
This collaboration comes after Codat entered into a strategic partnership with Visa where it offered Visa’s clients access to digital banking solutions and capabilities from across the financial services spectrum.
