Funds from the round will be used to bolster its R&D and international growth. This will include its international expansion and deployment across mainland Europe.

Expensya claims to have had 100% growth during the pandemic.

The company offers automated spend management for companies of all sizes. Its tools include self-managed expenses, automated accounting, augmented payment, business intelligence, and more.

To aid with expanse management, the platform builds expense reports, and offers tools for online expense, daily allowances, mileage expenses, travel authorisations and general expenses.

Silicon Badia managing partner Namek Zu’bi said, “After evaluating several opportunities in the general space, we were very excited to find a company that has the foresight to understand what the market needs and where the industry is heading globally in terms of moving from pure expense management 1.0 tools into next generation spend management and payments solutions.”
