dacadoo receives privacy and security certificates from ISO

Swiss InsurTech dacadoo has received the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and an ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification from the International Standards Organization (ISO).

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an information security management system standard published by the ISO and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in 2013. The ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certificate relates to a privacy information management system standard published in 2019 by the ISO and IEC.

This accreditation means dacadoo has implemented security measures and countermeasures that protect it from unauthorised access or compromise. Additionally, its IT personnel are “conscientious and knowledgeable in best practices.”

dacadoo president and CEO Peter Ohnemus said, “It brings me great joy to announce our ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications as they set dacadoo apart from other organizations. It truly shows our commitment to the highest standards of data privacy and security.

“Achieving these certifications has required implementing policies, efficient processes as well as other organizational and technical measures which would have been impossible without the incredibly committed team behind dacadoo.”

dacadoo develops technology solutions for digital health engagement and health risk quantification.

The company recently teamed up with Amsterdam-based Digital Insurance Group to further expand insurance solutions for banks, insurers and brokers with a new ‘Quote & Buy’ product.
