Creditworthiness rating startup Agrograph collects seed funding

Agrograph, which helps agriculture companies get better access to finance, has closed its seed round, which was led by Mucker Capital.

The investment round also received capital from Idea Fund of La Crosse.

With the fund, the FinTech company hopes to bolster its sales and marketing efforts, increase its core customer base and increase the deployment of its agricultural risk management solutions.

The size of the investment round was not revealed.

Based in Wisconsin, the company offers agriculture companies around the world with an improve risk score. Its technology offers a standardised farm-to-farm creditworthiness rating for any field and crop across the globe.

It claims its technology accesses more than 30 variables to create a customised risk rating that helps companies anticipate trends, manage outcomes and make important business decisions.

With this creditworthiness rating, companies can get better terms on their loans to support their growth.
