The investment was led by LB Investment, with commitments also coming from KDB Development Bank, Magellan Technology Investment, YG Investment, Mirae Asset Venture Investment, Lotte Ventures and DS Asset Management.
Talking about the next growth stages for S2W, the company’s CEO Sangduk Suh said, “We will focus on rapid growth, and we will prove to the world that companies pursuing the value of justice are superior in competitiveness and sustainability.”
SW2 leverages data analysis to help companies respond to cyber threats such as ransomware. Its technology is used in the finance, telecommunications, manufacturing and e-commerce industries.
Its threat intelligence platform can monitor hidden channels, including the dark web, deep web, social media, and more. Some of its features are threat navigation and analysis, money tracking, illicit transaction detection, behavioural analysis and change monitoring, score-based risk management, and more.
The company claims to be the only company with dark web and cryptocurrency self-analysis technology in Korea. It is also an official partner of INTERPOL.
S2W previously raised $3.5m in its Series A round back in March 2020.
