Israeli cybersecurity and governance platform Zenity has come out of stealth mode and raised $5m from a seed funding round.
The round was led by UpWest and Vertex Ventures and saw participation from executives such as Gerhard Eschelbeck – the former CISO of Google – and Tom Fisher, who is the former CIO of SuccessFactors.
Zenity claims it is the first and only governance and security platform for low-code/no-code applications. The company’s platform continuously scans every application component to identify security policy violations, which can include vulnerabilities such as exfiltration, manipulation threats and risky third-party components.
According to Zenity, it intends to use the newly raised capital to expand its product, R&D, marketing operation and customer acquisition activities.
