Cloud incident response company Mitiga has received a Series A funding round.
The round was backed by Blackstone Innovations Investments, ClearSky, Atlantic Bridge and DNX.
Mitiga claims organisations around the world are using its technology to reduce the impact of cloud attacks by optimising their incident readiness and resilience. The company focuses on readiness and resilience to help clients improve their response and recovery capabilities during cloud incidents.
Through its dynamic-readiness approach, clients can automate the process of collecting and analysing cloud forensics data, eliminating time-consuming data acquisition delays before beginning the incident investigation, response, and recovery.
Mitiga also boasts a shared-responsibility business model, which removes additional fees for cloud incidents.
Blackstone chief security officer Adam Fletcher said, “Although traditional incident response solutions focus on what happens after a breach, Mitiga’s unique solution combines incident readiness and response, helping companies prepare for a breach before it happens.
“As an investor and a customer, we know how important it is to be prepared before an incident occurs, especially in cloud infrastructure. We look forward to a successful partnership and to the company’s next phase of growth.”
The RegTech company previously raised $25m in Series A funding back in June 2021.
