Topa Insurance Company partners with Exavalu for digital claims capability

Exavalu, a global digital solutions and IT consulting company, has partnered with Topa Insurance Company to enable digital claims payment capabilities for the insurer.

Topa Insurance Company has implemented digital claims payment capabilities based on its One Inc’s software through the partnership with Exavalu as systems integrator. The initiative involved integration of One Inc’s software with Guidewire’s InsuranceNow core insurance platform.

The new capability aims to achieve faster claims processing, improved customer experience, and lower operational costs.

Tracy Tillinghast, vice president and chief information officer of Topa Insurance Company, said, “In a very short period of time, we were able to greatly improve user experience in claims payment processing, while creating efficiencies for our claims examiners.”

Saurav Basu, president and founder of Exavalu, added, “Digital payments is a critical component of the digital journey for insurers to help improve customer experience and reduce costs.
