Charlee.ai, a provider of cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for property and casualty (P&C) insurers, has partnered with claims litigation management platform ClaimDeck.
Headquartered in San Francisco, with a subsidiary in Chennai, India, Charlee’s vision is to become the “backbone of insurance” via its AI-based predictive analytics engine.
ClaimDeck is a SaaS platform that puts claims professions and legal counsel on a secure and user-friendly platform.
Dwayne Hermes, co-founder and CEO of ClaimDeck, said the partnership will see claims be processed in ClaimDeck’s litigation workflow management software. This will streamline the process.
Sri Ramaswamy, CEO at Charlee, said, “We live in an increasingly litigious society and claims costs already account for the bulk of the premium dollars insurance companies bring in.
“This partnership ensures insurers will be able to more accurately predict which claims have the highest likelihood of litigation to ensure settlement and it is, therefore, easier to proactively manage the process to mitigate soaring loss costs.”
Many insurers are leveraging AI to improve parts of the claims process. Earlier this month, American Family Insurance, one of the largest players in US property and casualty insurance, partnered with Tractable to apply its artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.
