Video game commerce company Xsolla has launched a new payments solution that will boost cross-platform branded payments.
Xsolla Pay Station, which claims to be the only cross-platform branded payment experience for the video game industry, boasts optimised user flow for improved purchasing experiences, a customisable user interface, streamlined mobile payments and full support of mobile wallets globally.
Its payment services are used by 1,000 developers and helps process transactions in more than 200 countries and accepts 700+ payment methods.
By leveraging Pay Station, developers can make their games available in more countries and provide access across multiple platforms and mobile devices with a suite of customisation and branding options.
Xsolla global head for commerce Anton Zelenin said, “With the advancements introduced to Pay Station, we are helping developers to create a simple purchasing experience that looks and feels as if it is a part of their games no matter what platform.
“Our partners can customise the customer experience, offer a streamlined payment process, and provide access to gamers’ preferred payment methods around the world on the platform of their choice.”
The virtual world is becoming a big market for the financial world.
Sanlo, which provides financial services to gaming and app companies, recently collected $10m in its Series A funding round. The company offers a dashboard that lets developers see their cash flow and financials from a single location, as well as track upcoming payments.
A recent report from Juniper Research claimed that the gaming sector will drive a 37% growth to carrier billing spend.
