ACA Group, a governance, risk and compliance advisory and technology firm, has opened a new office in Pune, India.

According to ACA, the new office will help to service the growing financial services market in the region and increase its access to talent to support ACA’s global growth.

The new office opened on February 13 and will focus on supporting clients around the clock and improving project turnaround times in India.

Richard Kemmling will relocate to Pune and take the role of head of APAC.

Over the new year, the company will hire more than 100 individuals with initial hires in ACA’s managed services, IT support/application and risk specialist divisions.

This expansion into Pune, the firm claims, will allow it to deliver its product and service offerings to additional global corporations while providing internal opportunities for accelerated career experience and growth.

ACA Group CEO Shvetank Shah said, “Our continued growth is fueled by high-performing team members, so we are keen to meet talent wherever they are. Expanding our global footprint to India, and to Pune, opens up access to world-class talent with differentiated skills – in risk and compliance, analytics, managed services, and technology. We are delighted to launch our Pune office and expect rapid hiring growth here, with every part of ACA represented over time.”

Kemmling added “Known as the Oxford of the East for its universities, Pune offers an exciting future talent pool for ACA. Global financial players are already here, and more are coming, which means we will now be at close call for clients across the globe. ACA Group is certainly on its way to truly being ACA Global.”

In November last year, ACA bolstered its managed services offering in response to the ongoing global economic downturn, increased budget pressure and recruitment challenges.
