State Street has welcomed Jessica Donohue to the role of Head of Global Investment Insights, Sustainability, and Impact.
Donohue’s primary duties will centre on amplifying the firm’s sustainability agenda and delivering valuable insights to clients and the wider industry.

Jessica Donohue, a seasoned figure at State Street, steps into her new role with a wealth of experience and industry knowledge. In this role, she replaces Rick Lacaille, who held the newly minted role in 2020, leading the company’s ESG initiatives and services across all business sectors. Lacaille announced his retirement earlier this year, providing a well-deserved respite after serving as global CIO for State Street Global Advisors (SSGA).
Donohue has been a prominent figure within State Street for over 20 years. Her roles have spanned the breadth of the company, encompassing Head of Investor Behavior Research at State Street Associates, Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Advisory and Information Solutions for Global Exchange (now State Street Alpha), and Head of Performance & Analytics for Investment Services. This extensive experience positions her well for her latest role, with an intricate understanding of the business and the wider industry.
