Mastercard, Checkout.com and Careem join forces for instant wallet top-ups in the UAE

Mastercard, a global technology company spearheading the payments industry, has joined hands with Checkout.com, an acclaimed global payments solution provider, and Careem, the Middle East’s renowned ‘Everything App’, for a transformative initiative.

In a bid to revolutionise real-time payments, this collaboration allows Careem Pay users in the UAE to enjoy near-instant payments. With the integration of Mastercard Send into Careem Pay, customers can now experience a significant increase in speed, convenience, and security when using the Careem app for money transfers and accessing daily services.

Being the first to secure an acquiring license from the UAE Central Bank, it utilises Mastercard Send and its extensive payment network to augment its wallet top-up service for numerous Mastercard cardholders in the UAE.
