Leap Financial has launched an innovative product designed as an AI assistant for immigrants looking to integrate into society.

The Florida-based firm launched the solution, known as Lola4i.com, which is an AI assistant that coaches recently arrived immigrants to the U.S. as well all next-gens who may struggle to get fully integrated.

The significance of Lola4i.com is magnified considering the substantial impact immigrants have on the United States. With over 46 million immigrants constituting about 13.9% of the population, according to data.census.gov, their contribution to the civilian labor force has steadily risen.

Historically, immigrants have leaned on community organisations or fellow immigrants to navigate these challenges. However, this approach often proves overwhelming, subject to frequent changes, and commonly lacks accessibility in terms of language and cultural nuances.

In stark contrast, Lola goes beyond conventional AI tools, considering not just language but also country-specific phrases, addressing common spelling errors, and maintaining continuous updates from vetted official sources. By doing so, the product supersedes expensive analog methods and unreliable word-of-mouth, eradicating informational inaccuracies.

Lionel Carrasco co-founder and CEO of Leap Financial, said, “Immigrants make a substantial impact on our country, and the vast majority of them are coming here for a better life and to integrate and contribute to society. As technology entrepreneurs and immigrants who have lived through the often-difficult journey of integrating into the US social, business and financial ecosystem, we created Lola as a first step to ensure our immigrant community has a coach right in their smartphones.

“Lola can help immigrants unleash their potential by helping them to quickly become economic contributors and active participants in our community. The faster the system can insert people into the labor and financial system by providing them with accurate information to operate in the ecosystem, the faster they will have a positive impact.”

“We are partnering with community organisations, consulates, and fintech companies like h.way to sponsor Lola and help increase its influence. Additional services will be integrated into Lola to aggregate as much help as possible in one place,” he added.
