Helix by HL, a generative AI assistant, has marked a new chapter in private market investing with a $6m seed+ investment.
The company, known for its revolutionary approach in the sector, has successfully closed its Seed+ funding round.
Helix by HL secured a significant $6 million in this round, bringing its post-money valuation to a notable $26 million. The lead investor in this venture is FINTOP Capital, a venture capital firm with a solid reputation for strategic investments in groundbreaking FinTech solutions.
At its core, Helix, a product of a joint venture between TIFIN, a leader in AI wealth platforms, and Hamilton Lane, a globally recognised private markets investment manager, is redefining alternative investing. Launched in June 2023, the platform leverages Hamilton Lane’s proprietary data and deep industry knowledge to simplify the complex world of alternative investments. It empowers wealth advisors with essential tools and insights, aiming for future integration with wealth platforms and digital marketplaces for advisors and investors in private markets.
This funding is a pivotal moment for TIFIN’s TIFIN.AI initiative, which collaborates with top financial services firms to develop new AI platforms, enhancing partners’ capabilities in the dynamic field of AI-powered WealthTech.
Dr. Vinay Nair, Founder and CEO of TIFIN, expressed excitement about the partnership with FINTOP, highlighting its alignment with Helix’s ambition to become an indispensable tool for private investment users. “This investment is a testament to our vision to bring cutting-edge AI technology to the world of wealth,” he stated.

FINTOP Capital, with its impressive track record in supporting innovative FinTech firms, sees immense potential in Helix by HL. This investment, part of JAM FINTOP’s strategy to enhance banks’ wealth management offerings, is expected to expedite product development, improve platform features, and expand Helix’s market presence.
