Tietoevry Tech Services, a leading technology company with expertise in cloud, data, and software, has entered into a new collaboration agreement with LocalTapiola, a customer-owned mutual company group specializing in life, damage, and pension insurance, as well as investment and savings services.
The primary objective of this partnership is to leverage modernization and cloud services to bolster the efficiency and effectiveness of ICT operations. This collaboration aligns with LocalTapiola’s strategy to offer comprehensive life security services and to provide their owner-customers with the industry’s leading multichannel customer experience.
LocalTapiola aims to secure the lives and success of its customers through comprehensive and preemptive services, catering to individual, farm, entrepreneur, business, and community customers. Their offerings encompass a wide range of insurance and financial services.
Tietoevry, on the other hand, creates purposeful technology that aims to reinvent the world positively. With 24,000 experts globally and operations in over 90 countries, they specialize in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions.
The contract, valued at €44m, spans a five-year period, underscoring Tietoevry’s commitment to customer-centric solutions and comprehensive ICT modernization that aligns with LocalTapiola’s business objectives. The agreement also includes an option for a two-year extension, demonstrating the depth of this strategic alliance.
LocalTapiola’s mission and vision focus on offering safer, more economically secure, and healthier lives to Finns. Tietoevry, with a yearly turnover of approximately €3bn, is listed on NASDAQ in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Oslo Børs, reflecting its global presence and financial stability.
