The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has recently announced the appointment of two new Vice Presidents Enas Asiri and Suresh Nair.
Their roles are crucial in enhancing the member experience globally and developing products and services to foster public trust in the insurance and financial planning professions worldwide.
The CII stands at the forefront of professional standards within the insurance and financial planning industry. It is dedicated to promoting higher levels of competence and integrity among industry professionals. The CII’s influence spans globally, focusing on cultivating trust in the insurance and financial planning professions.
Enas Asiri, a Chartered Insurer and Fellow of the CII since 2015, joined Bahrain National Life Assurance in 2017. With an MBA from Strathclyde University, Enas has a rich background in the insurance industry, including her role as Head of Life and Medical Operations at the Arab Insurance Group. She also contributes to several boards and committees in the sector.
Suresh Nair brings over three decades of experience in the insurance industry. He is currently the Executive Director at Gargash Insurance Services in Dubai. A CII Fellow with an MBA and Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India, Suresh is known for his contributions to industry thought leadership and his role as a CII Goodwill Ambassador.
Both Enas and Suresh are set to co-chair the International Affiliated Institute Forum (IAIF), acting as global ambassadors for the CII’s international members and consulting the global Affiliated Institute network.
Suresh Nair expressed his respect for the CII and excitement about his new role, saying, “Like so many other insurance and financial service professionals, I hold the CII and what it stands for in the highest regard. It will therefore be an honour to be affiliated with and serve as the Vice President (International) of the CII. I look forward to working closely with the CII team, the international institutes affiliated with the CII, and the CII membership.”
Similarly, Enas Asiri shared her enthusiasm, stating, “I am proud to be appointed as a Vice President (International) of the Chartered Insurance Institute. The CII played a pivotal role in shaping my professional development and career advancement. I am looking forward to contributing to such a distinguished establishment and elevating the voice of international members.”
Azlina Bulmer, Executive Director of Membership & Engagement for the CII, commented on the new appointments, “We are delighted to welcome both Enas Asiri and Suresh Nair to the CII’s international team. They each bring a wealth of experience to role, that will be of considerable benefit to the CII and its members.
