InsurTech firm TNEDICCA, which specialises in auto insurance, has announced the appointment of a 30-year insurance veteran to its board.
Dave Pratt, a seasoned professional with over three decades worth of experience in the industry has joined the firm from Progressive Insurance. His hire is said to be a pivotal moment on the company’s mission to reduce traffic accidents through the better use of data and analytics.
Known for his various roles at Progressive, including General Manager of Snapshot and President and CEO of ARX Holding Co., Pratt brings a wealth of experience to his new role with TNEDICCA, and it is anticipated that he will leverage his extensive operating experience in market segmentation, new product development, and strategy.
His remarkable track record includes him building a direct-to-consumer distribution channel, leading to substantial revenue growth from $1bn to $2.8bn at his previous employer.
TNEDICCA is an InsurTech firm which specialises in providing auto insurers with advanced solutions for territory rating, pricing, and underwriting through innovative crash location data models.
The company’s proprietary database, comprising over 30 million curated crashes from police reports, forms the basis for their groundbreaking TNEDICCA Road Risk Scores.
