Marsh announces wave of new leadership appointments

Marsh, a prominent player in the insurance industry, has appointed Lorraine Stack as the new Risk Management Leader for Europe, effective immediately.

Marsh, a prominent player in the insurance industry, has announced a wave of new senior leadership appointments.

As part of the news, Lorraine Stack has been revealed as the firm’s new Risk Management Leader for Europe, effective immediately.

Stack, who is Dublin-based, will report to Christos Adamantiadis, CEO, and Carolina Klint, Chief Commercial Officer, at Marsh McLennan Europe, according to Captive.com.

In her new capacity, she will oversee Marsh’s portfolio of major European clients, providing them with comprehensive support in managing their risk and insurance programs.

Bringing over 30 years of experience in broking and underwriting to her new position, Stack will an incredible amount of expertise and insight into the firm, where she will succeed Klint.

Speaking on the appointment, Adamantiadis said, “Lorraine is widely recognised and respected among her peers as one of the industry’s foremost thinkers on risk and resilience, and how insurance can be used to create a competitive advantage.”

Simultaneously, Marsh has also announced the appointment of Rob Geraghty as the new International Consulting and Sales Leader at Marsh Captive Solutions, along with the promotion of Nick Gale to Dublin and Isle of Man Captives Operations Leader, both effective immediately.

In his role, Geraghty will lead a team of sales and consulting professionals tasked with spearheading new business initiatives and captive consulting across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

Meanwhile, Gale will serve as the Dublin and Isle of Man Captives Operations Leader, focusing on enhancing collaboration between the two offices and developing complementary solutions and services that benefit Marsh Captive Solutions’ clients.

Both report to Will Thomas-Ferrand, international captive practice leader. Speaking on the news, he said, “The growing popularity of captive insurance solutions globally is continuing apace amid challenging insurance market conditions, which is contributing to innovation in captive structures, servicing, regulation, and greater adoption in numerous countries. Rob and Nick’s rich knowledge of the international captive insurance sector will be invaluable as Marsh Captive Solutions continues to develop new solutions that support our clients in managing their rapidly evolving risks.”
