FinanZero, Brazil's leading credit marketplace, secures $4m

FinanZero, the premier online credit marketplace in Brazil, has recently announced a significant media-for-equity investment.

The company, founded by Swedish entrepreneurs Olle Widén and Kristian Jacobsson, in collaboration with Swedish venture studio Webrock Ventures, has become a pivotal platform providing access to credit for millions of Brazilians. With a vast network of over 80 lenders, FinanZero offers unmatched rates and terms in the market.

The investment totals $4m and comes from the Brazilian fund 4Equity. This strategic funding is aligned with the same terms and valuation as FinanZero’s most recent financing round. 4Equity Media Ventures, known as Latin America’s leading media-for-equity fund, has thus become a minority investor in FinanZero. This partnership is set to substantially support FinanZero’s brand and business growth, leveraging significant marketing resources.

Olle Widén, CEO and co-founder of FinanZero, said, “The agreement with 4Equity will be essential for our growth strategy going forward. Over the past twelve months, we have been preparing our team and platform to scale and accelerate the business in 2024, a year in which we anticipate a substantial market improvement.”
