Zurich Insurance and Klook have joined forces to introduce FlyEasy, a solution aimed at addressing flight delays by offering lounge access to affected passengers.

The partnership between Zurich Insurance, a global insurance provider, and Klook, a leading travel platform, seeks to enhance the travel experience for customers facing flight disruptions, according to Insurance Asia.

The primary goal of this collaboration is to provide immediate support to travellers experiencing flight delays, departing from traditional insurance practices.

FlyEasy, powered by Zurich Edge’s digital insurance processes and capabilities, aims to deliver hassle-free coverage while meeting the evolving demands of modern travellers.

Zurich Insurance is a renowned insurance company known for its comprehensive coverage and innovative solutions. Klook, on the other hand, is a travel platform that offers a wide range of services to travellers, including bookings for flights, accommodations, and activities.

Singapore residents with eligible policies under Klook Protect can register their flight details on Zurich Insurance’s dedicated FlyEasy platform at least 24 hours before departure.

Upon confirmation of a flight delay, customers will automatically receive a notification email and SMS containing a lounge access code. If no lounge is available at the current location, the access code remains valid for six months for use at any other airport lounge.

Zurich Insurance’s partnership with Klook underscores its commitment to providing innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences and address the challenges faced by travellers.
