Wealthon, a Polish FinTech firm, has successfully secured debt financing of $12.3m from funds managed by CVI Dom Maklerski.
According to FinSMEs, the investment marks a significant commitment to supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) while expanding innovative financial product offerings.
The funds raised in this round will be directed towards scaling up the company’s operations and further developing its financial products. Wealthon is particularly focused on enhancing its presence in the burgeoning e-commerce sector, which has shown substantial growth potential.
Wealthon operates with a distinct business model, focusing primarily on providing financial support to SMEs. The company offers the Wealthon Poscash loan, which is distinguished by a proprietary scoring system.
This system assesses the creditworthiness of customers swiftly and issues automatic decisions, ensuring a quick and efficient lending process. The unique aspect of the loan is that the repayment is tailored according to the daily turnover at the payment terminal, making it adaptable to the varying financial flows of SMEs.
The funds will facilitate the development of new financial products and help Wealthon capitalise on the increasing demand for tailored financial solutions in the e-commerce industry. This strategic direction not only strengthens Wealthon’s market position but also supports the financial stability and growth of its client businesses.
Additional to the recent funding, in May, Wealthon initiated a partnership with IdoSell, aimed at crafting specialised financing options for e-commerce stores. This collaboration underscores Wealthon’s commitment to integrating innovative financial solutions with sector-specific needs, enhancing both reach and relevance in the FinTech landscape.
Wealthon CEO Aleksander Majchrzak said, “This new injection of funds will enable us to push forward with our ambitious growth plans and continue innovating in the way we support e-commerce businesses and SMEs.”
Previously, Wealthon has engaged in other strategic financing activities, although specifics of past investments were not disclosed in the current announcement.
