Visa relaunches SavingsEdge: A revamped tool for smart business savings

Visa, a global leader in digital payments, announced today the relaunch of its Visa SavingsEdge program, designed to add substantial value for small businesses in the US and Canada.

The program has been a staple for more than a decade, providing eligible Small Business cardholders with essential savings, tools, and resources to foster growth.

The initiative to relaunch Visa SavingsEdge emerges from an ongoing commitment to support small businesses, which are showing commendable resilience despite prevailing economic uncertainties. Recent data indicates a positive trend, with 77% of surveyed businesses anticipating revenue growth in 2024, mirroring their growth in 2023. This economic optimism is further bolstered by plans from 64% of small businesses to invest in cost-saving technology to enhance their operations.

The revamped Visa SavingsEdge now features a more dynamic platform with enhanced functionalities and a broader range of merchant offers. These offers include Instant Coupons and Cashback Offers across diverse categories such as travel, restaurants, electronics, and business services. Additionally, the program has introduced real-time notifications for cardholders and a cash-back tracker to monitor savings accrued through the platform.

Eligible cardholders of Visa Business credit, debit, and reloadable prepaid cards in the U.S. and Canada can enjoy discounts on qualifying purchases at participating merchants. The program offers two types of savings: Instant Coupons, which provide immediate discounts at the point-of-sale, and Cashback Offers, which are applied as statement credits. To benefit from the Cashback Offers, cardholders need to link their eligible Visa Business cards and use them for qualifying purchases.

Previously enrolled cardholders are required to re-link their cards to access the new Cashback Offers.

Veronica Fernandez, SVP and North America Head of Visa Commercial Solutions, said, ““Owning a small business can present challenges, and businesses need every advantage they can get, no matter the economic climate.

“We know it’s important for business owners to save on products and services they need to run their business smoothly. Visa SavingsEdge has delivered value to cardholders and issuers for years. Through this investment, we’re unlocking even more ways to save for Visa Small Business cardholders.”
