CAPE Analytics, a leader in AI-powered property insights for insurance and real estate risk, and Vexcel, a global leader in aerial imaging, have announced a strategic new partnership.
The partnership aims to provide CAPE with high-resolution, accurate, and recent aerial imagery to enhance its property insights and expand its product offerings across the United States, Canada, and Australia.
CAPE Analytics, established in 2014, is renowned for its predictive property risk insights used by over 80 enterprise clients, including many of the top 30 homeowners insurance carriers in the U.S. and leading global investment banks. The company generates and instantly delivers more than 80 property analytics, covering aspects such as roof condition, age, living area, and risk scores for hail and wildfire. These insights help insurance carriers, financial institutions, and property owners manage and mitigate property-level risks with unprecedented detail.
Vexcel, with an aerial imagery library covering 99.6% of the U.S. population and over 127 million households, refreshes its urban area imagery up to three times annually in the U.S. and regularly updates imagery in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. In 2024, Vexcel plans to capture 4.4 million square kilometres in the U.S., refreshing imagery for 93% of the population. This partnership will allow CAPE to expand its geographic reach to states like Hawaii, rural areas in the U.S., and countries such as New Zealand. CAPE will also offer clients Vexcel’s post-disaster Gray Sky imagery and analytics following major weather events.
