OBOS Bank and Tietoevry Banking enhance digital lending with new automated loan process

OBOS Bank, a digital everyday bank headquartered in Norway, has partnered with Tietoevry Banking is a provider of financial SaaS solutions in the Nordics. 

The partnership between OBOS Bank and Tietoevry Banking is driven by the goal to digitally process as many mortgage applications as possible, from initiation to disbursement.

OBOS Bank serves approximately 80,000 bank customers and manages assets worth NOK 68bn ($5.6bn).

Tietoevry Banking offers a comprehensive range of banking solutions, including core banking, payment, and fraud prevention services. It focuses on modernizing banks and unlocking value through low-risk, efficient software implementations.

The new digital loan process introduced by this partnership caters to existing customers seeking refinancing and new mortgage applicants. The process integrates real-time solutions and manual checks to maintain high credit quality.

Tietoevry Banking will also offer its banking platform to include a variable pricing model and modern solutions. This includes core banking, card and payment solutions as well as modern solutions for combating fraud and financial crime.
