Handelsbanken Norway, a prominent Norwegian bank with 38 branches, has entered a new a agreement with Tietoevry Banking, a leader in digital banking solutions, specializes in core banking, payment solutions, and anti-financial crime technologies.
The partnership renewal underscores both companies’ commitment to enhancing digital banking services in Norway. The new agreement focuses on migrating to a modern core banking solution that aligns with Handelsbanken’s strategic objectives to streamline operations and enhance customer service.
Handelsbanken Norway stands out for its extensive branch network and high customer satisfaction ratings, making it one of the largest and most efficient banks in Norway. Tietoevry Banking delivers a comprehensive range of banking technologies, including innovative solutions for core banking, cards, payments, and wealth management, and systems for combating financial crime.
The renewed partnership includes a five-year agreement for Tietoevry to provide Handelsbanken with a state-of-the-art banking technology platform.
Handelsbanken Director of Technology and Development, Øystein Aulin, said, “This is a large and important agreement that gives us predictability in both solutions and systems for the future, and we are very pleased that we now have a new agreement in place.”
