Travel insurer tifgroup has teamed up Air Doctor, the must-have travel companion, to ensure that travellers can quickly and easily access medical care while abroad.
The primary goal of this partnership is to provide travellers covered by Tifgroup brands with access to a comprehensive digital out-patient health service, according to Insurance Today.
This is set to significantly reduce the stress and inconvenience of dealing with health issues during travel.
Tifgroup is a prominent travel insurance provider, covering a range of brands including Holidaysafe, Insurancewith, Flexicover, DOGTAG, Get Going, Albert and Eddie, Alpha, and Citybond Suretravel.
These brands will now offer their customers access to Air Doctor’s extensive medical network.
Air Doctor’s digital service facilitates scheduling appointments with vetted doctors either in a clinic, at the traveller’s accommodation, or through video consultations.
These appointments can be confirmed within 45 minutes, ensuring swift access to medical care.
The service operates in 78 countries and supports video consultations in 84 countries, available in 21 languages, and also assists with securing valid local prescriptions.

The collaboration with Air Doctor not only enhances the healthcare services available to Tifgroup’s customers but also supports Air Doctor’s mission to expand its global reach and provide accessible medical care to more travellers around the world.
