UK-based Jarvis raises £1.8m to enhance pension management technology

Jarvis, a pioneering pension FinTech, has successfully completed a seed funding round, raising £1.8 million.

The investment round was co-led by Ascension VC and Cornerstone VC, and also saw participation from the Tokio Marine Future Fund.

The company, which is at the forefront of pension management innovation, focuses on empowering employees to actively plan for their ideal retirement. By integrating various aspects of pension management through its platform, Jarvis addresses the growing need for financial tools that cater to the modern workforce, which is increasingly moving towards self-employment and gig economy roles.

The raised capital of £1.8 million will be directed towards scaling the company’s operations and enhancing product development. Jarvis is committed to integrating its offerings with a broader ecosystem of pension-related services, aiming to provide a comprehensive solution that simplifies retirement planning.

With over 50% of the global workforce projected to be self-employed by 2028, Jarvis’s services are becoming increasingly vital. The platform offers the Jarvis Pension and a user-friendly app, which together provide real-time insights into users’ retirement goals, simplify pension management, and integrate broader financial data such as cost of living, tax rates, and inflation.

For employers, Jarvis also offers a financial wellness solution that includes an auto-enrolment workplace pension designed specifically for the modern workforce. Its API integrates with payroll systems, facilitating easy reconciliation of payroll data and simplifying financial management for employers and employees alike.

Royden Greaves, CEO and Founder of Jarvis, shared his motivation for starting the company: “Over my 15 years in the wealth management space, I’ve seen the stark contrast between those who can afford continuous financial advice and the majority who cannot. This inspired me to create a solution accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial status.

“Jarvis is designed to provide clarity and empower individuals to enjoy their lives now while planning effectively for the future. Traditional advice often centres on saving for a rainy day, but we understand that people want to live fulfilling lives today. Our platform helps users balance current enjoyment with future security. This investment will support our continued growth as we integrate with the broader ecosystem.”
