Zurich Australia, a leading insurance provider, has announced a partnership with Tesla to become the preferred electric vehicle insurance provider for Tesla customers in Australia.
The partnership aims to offer Tesla owners comprehensive and convenient insurance through the ‘InsureMyTesla’ EV offering, leveraging Zurich’s advanced ‘Edge’ technology, according to the Coverager.
This service will be accessible directly via the Tesla app, simplifying the insurance process for both new and existing Tesla owners.
Through this collaboration, Zurich will provide extensive coverage for Tesla vehicles, including repairs for glass, charging equipment, and batteries, all managed through Tesla’s accredited repair network.
This insurance product will be available to all Tesla Model 3 and Model Y customers via the Tesla app, ensuring easy access and streamlined service.
Zurich has been Tesla’s preferred insurance provider in Switzerland since 2016, and this new arrangement in Australia builds on their successful relationship.
The partnership underscores the growing importance of electric vehicle adoption in Australia, aligning with both companies’ commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology.
