INSTANDA, the global leader in no-code insurance platform technology, has appointed Professor Andy Pardoe as its interim chief AI officer.
Pardoe, a veteran in the technology and financial services industries and an author, will take on the role as INSTANDA’s first-ever chief AI officer.
This appointment comes as the company experiences rapid growth, particularly in the area of AI integration, which is becoming increasingly important in streamlining insurance processes.
In his new role, Pardoe will collaborate closely with INSTANDA’s co-founder and CEO, Tim Hardcastle, to develop and implement the company’s future AI strategy. His responsibilities will include identifying strategic opportunities to enhance the client experience through data-driven insights and intelligent automation.
Additionally, Pardoe will work with other team members to explore new ways to apply AI to optimise INSTANDA’s internal workflows, boosting productivity and enabling greater innovation in collaboration with clients.
He brings over 30 years of experience in artificial intelligence to INSTANDA. His extensive career includes advising senior officials on AI adoption across various industries, such as financial services, government, retail, and public services.
Pardoe has also held senior technology positions with prominent organisations, including Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and Accenture, and has served on multiple advisory boards focusing on technology trends and digital transformation.
Tim Hardcastle, CEO and co-founder of INSTANDA spoke enthusiastically on the appointment, stating, “We are confident that the wealth of experience and expertise Andy brings to the chief AI officer role will continue to revolutionise the ways INSTANDA can deploy AI across our business and platform. We have a global-first track record of delivering unique solutions by combining existing and new technologies to maximise value for our clients and their customers. Already, Andy has brought tremendous value to INSTANDA, and we look forward to seeing what more we can achieve together for our clients and the wider insurance industry.”
Incoming interim chief AI officer Pardoe added, “AI is already driving considerable change across the insurance industry – but there is so much more it can do. The skill is understanding how to apply it to make a real difference. The right application can create change across the entire insurance value chain. I’m looking forward to working with Tim and others at INSTANDA to develop and drive efficiencies and innovation that will benefit not only our clients, but their clients too.”
