Sage Intacct’s global expansion: Revolutionizing AP automation with AI

Sage Intacct is enhancing its position in the global market with significant upgrades to its accounting and financial management software, particularly with the expansion of its AI-driven AP Automation.

This advancement is set to assist businesses worldwide by automating and streamlining accounts payable processes, thereby reducing operational costs and increasing efficiency.

The tool has shown substantial benefits in the US, processing over 10,000 bills monthly and saving organizations more than $100,000 annually.

The global rollout of AP Automation is part of Sage Intacct’s broader strategy to enhance the security and compliance of financial operations across different regions. This includes achieving significant certifications that affirm their commitment to providing robust, secure, and compliant financial solutions.

Additionally, the latest product release introduces several new features aimed at improving operational efficiency and user experience. These include the Sage Intelligent Time feature, which assists in the creation of more descriptive activity card titles and automatic time entry descriptions, improving clarity and simplifying approval processes. The availability of this feature extends to the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, and the UK.

Sage has also upgraded its Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW), offering deeper, actionable insights that enhance compliance and operational efficiency globally. Another noteworthy enhancement is the improved email delivery service, which employs DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) to secure and streamline communications across various operational domains worldwide.

For the construction sector, Sage Intacct has introduced a joint check payment method, reducing risks associated with unpaid claims and simplifying payments to two-party construction vendors in Australia, the US, Canada, and eligible customers in the UK.

In terms of revenue management, Sage Intacct has boosted insights into Revenue Recognition by linking billing events directly with revenue recognition entries. This enhancement is available in Australia, Canada, South Africa, the UK, and the US, allowing for improved visibility, accuracy, and forecasting in financial management without a full Contracts application subscription.
