Nucleus Security, the leader in unified vulnerability management, has announced a strategic investment by Dcode Capital.

Dcode Capital, a growth-stage venture capital firm, is supported financially by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. This significant investment follows Nucleus Security’s recent achievement of FedRAMP Moderate authorization, further underscoring its pivotal role in enhancing cybersecurity for federal organisations.

The investment amount, though undisclosed, marks a significant commitment by Dcode Capital, which has previously participated in Nucleus Security’s advisory program in 2021. This continued partnership highlights a deepening trust and reliance on Nucleus Security’s expertise and solutions in the critical area of cybersecurity.

Nucleus Security specialises in unified vulnerability management, a crucial area for federal organisations that often grapple with fragmented cybersecurity tools and processes. By providing a unified platform, Nucleus Security simplifies the complex landscape of vulnerability management. This integration allows for a comprehensive overview of vulnerabilities, streamlining analysis, triage, and remediation processes across various systems.

The new funds will be utilised to further enhance Nucleus Security’s platform capabilities, particularly focusing on expanding its reach within federal agencies, defence contractors, and FedRAMP cloud service providers (CSPs). This strategic focus is intended to address and comply with stringent federal directives and regulations, improving overall national cybersecurity infrastructure.

Adding to the narrative, Nucleus Security’s co-founder and CEO, Stephen Carter, expressed gratitude for Dcode Capital’s ongoing support, which has been instrumental since their initial collaboration. “Dcode Capital’s support comes on the heels of our FedRAMP authorization earlier this year. We’re incredibly proud of that achievement, especially as it has opened the gate for addressing key federal missions.

“Now, with Dcode Capital’s connections, knowledge, and first-hand experience, we’re one step closer to achieving our mission to solve the most critical cybersecurity challenges for the most essential organisations in the government sector.”

Previously, Nucleus Security has also received investments from notable firms including In-Q-Tel, Arthur Ventures, and Lead Edge Capital, highlighting its growing influence and credibility within the cybersecurity sector.
