BR-DGE, a payment orchestration provider, has entered into a new partnership with Vibe, a B2B travel tech platform that helps online travel agencies (OTAs) build customised booking solutions.
This collaboration comes as global travel demand is surging, with industry experts predicting record-breaking growth, according to FF News.
The aim of this partnership is to provide Vibe’s merchants with enhanced payment connectivity and options, allowing for more streamlined payment processes for both merchants and their end customers.
Through BR-DGE’s platform, Vibe will be able to offer more robust and efficient payment services, ensuring a smoother booking experience.
BR-DGE, an independent, vendor-agnostic payment orchestrator, has become a trusted partner for large enterprise merchants in the travel sector.
Known for its modular solutions, the firm is already collaborating with notable travel companies such as Kenwood Travel and Travel Counsellors.
Vibe, which was established in 2007, is the latest addition to BR-DGE’s growing list of clients, with the partnership promising to further enhance the payment experience for travel merchants.
The company is a flexible travel booking platform that caters to the complex needs of OTAs and other travel businesses.
Its intuitive interfaces simplify travel bookings for customers, helping companies manage large volumes of transactions during periods of high demand.
The platform will now integrate BR-DGE’s payment solutions, offering better resilience, enhanced global connectivity, and faster market readiness.
One of the primary drivers behind the partnership is the rapid recovery of the travel sector post-pandemic. As travel bookings across airlines, cruises, and hotels skyrocket, both companies are positioned to capitalise on this growth.
According to the World Travel & Tourism Council, the sector’s economic contribution is projected to reach a record $11.1tn in 2024, and rise to $16tn by 2034, highlighting the massive potential of this industry.
Through this collaboration, Vibe will have access to BR-DGE’s extensive modular platform, which includes over 300 payment methods, providers, and solutions.
Vibe’s clients can leverage BR-DGE’s intelligent routing and failover systems, ensuring transaction reliability and flexibility, while boosting revenue by increasing authorisation rates in local markets.
Commenting on the partnership, BR-DGE’s head of partnerships, Tom Voaden, said , “After a rough few years, people’s hunger for travel is ravenous. That means travel platforms are handling millions of transactions at any one time, from thousands of touchpoints and merchants. With so many multinational enterprises like airlines and hotels and their differing platforms in the mix, OTAs and booking firms are in dire need of better payment orchestration, especially when cross-border transactions, FX and dynamic pricing are involved. Those are the challenges that BR-DGE’s payment orchestration tech was designed to solve.
“From payment processing to fraud monitoring, smart routing and effortless regulatory compliance, BR-DGE’s payment orchestration pulls together all of these moving parts together to give travel platforms simplified integrations, more interoperability, speed to market, enhanced CX and new growth opportunities. We’re experiencing huge demand from platform businesses who now see the value of using our orchestration layer to deliver more value for their end merchants. We’re excited to be working with Vibe and to see it immediately start reaping the benefits of the BR-DGE platform, creating new avenues for income and enhanced payment experiences.”
Vibe’s head of partnerships, Danny Girling, commented, “We’re really excited about this partnership with BR-DGE. It’s not just about adding more payment options, but about giving our clients even more flexibility and reliability when it comes to handling transactions. By working with BR-DGE, we’re able to bring even more value to the table, helping our travel merchants process payments smoothly, even during peak times. This partnership is a natural extension of what we already offer, and it’s all about making sure our clients have the best tools to succeed in a fast-paced industry.”
BR-DGE continues to grow at an impressive pace, having achieved a 600% increase in revenue in 2023.
The company is expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and forming partnerships with key players such as Trustly, PayPal, and Discover Global Network, further strengthening its position as a leading payment orchestration provider.
