Tottenham Hotspur has signed a three-year strategic partnership with Ant International, a global leader in digital payments and financial technology.

Tottenham Hotspur has signed a three-year strategic partnership with Ant International, a global leader in digital payments and financial technology.

The collaboration aims to boost digital fan engagement and enhance payment solutions for the club’s fans globally, according to Finextra.

The partnership will see Ant International, through its brands Alipay+, Antom, and WorldFirst, become Tottenham Hotspur’s exclusive Official Global Payment Solutions and Digital Wallet Partner.

Additionally, Alipay+ will become the first Official Training Wear Sleeve Partner for both the men’s and women’s teams. The goal is to deliver seamless payment experiences at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and across the club’s e-commerce platforms, with a particular focus on Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets.

Ant International, part of the Ant Group, is renowned for its digital payment technologies, particularly in the APAC region. Alipay+ offers a range of digital payment solutions, while Antom specialises in merchant payment services.

Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, is one of the most iconic football clubs in the world, known for its rich history and growing global fanbase.

The collaboration between Tottenham Hotspur and Ant International is designed to strengthen digital interactions with football fans, especially in the APAC region.

Through Ant International’s extensive payment ecosystem, the club aims to simplify the fan experience by offering payment methods widely used in the region. Ant International will also support various activations that aim to expand Tottenham Hotspur’s fanbase in the APAC region.

Ant International brings a wealth of experience in digital fan engagement through its previous sponsorships of major football tournaments such as UEFA Euro 2020 and 2024. This partnership underscores both organisations’ commitment to digital innovation and expanding their reach in global markets.
