The new Pune Tech Hub will be home to over 6,000 technologists, engineers, and experts, making it Mastercard’s largest workforce in a single city. The hub will support global operations related to payment security, cybersecurity, fraud detection, and digital identity, and will serve as a key node within the company’s global Tech Hub network.

The facility is designed to foster collaboration and innovation. It includes cutting-edge features such as:

  • TRUE Platinum certification for construction, in line with Mastercard’s commitment to sustainability
  • Technology-enabled collaborative spaces and ergonomic workstations
  • Wellness and recreational amenities, including a gym, games room, and cafeteria

The new campus also aligns with India’s “Viksit Bharat” vision, supporting the government’s goal to transform the country into a fully developed, technologically advanced economy by 2047. Initiatives such as Community Pass and Payment Passkey have already showcased Mastercard’s commitment to India’s digital ambitions.
