Insurity, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for insurance carriers, brokers, and managing general agents (MGAs), has announced the promotion of Jonathan Victor to the role of chief operating officer (COO).

In his expanded capacity, Victor will oversee cloud operations, customer success, enterprise security, system integrator operations, and professional services, ensuring streamlined processes and integration across the company.

Insurity specialises in delivering software solutions tailored for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance sector.

The company supports carriers, brokers, and MGAs with advanced tools for policy administration, billing, claims, and data analytics. With over 400 cloud customers, Insurity has cemented its reputation as the largest cloud-based provider in the P&C insurance industry.

Victor brings extensive experience to his new role. He joined Insurity in 2015 through its acquisition of Oceanwide, where he served as COO.

At Insurity, Victor has held roles such as chief information officer (CIO) and EVP of customer success, where he spearheaded the company’s cloud platform evolution and managed software-as-a-service (SaaS) implementations.

His leadership has resulted in over 50 successful cloud migrations annually, bolstering Insurity’s position as an industry leader.

In addition to his professional achievements, Victor’s background includes a consulting role at Accenture and a degree from McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management. These experiences have equipped him with a strong foundation in operations and customer-centric strategies.

As COO, Victor will focus on optimising Insurity’s system integrator partner network, enhancing customer flexibility, and streamlining the journey from software onboarding to post-go-live support. His goal is to help clients realise faster returns on investment while meeting their strategic business objectives.

“Stepping into this role enables me to shape a more connected and efficient experience for Insurity’s customers, ensuring they can quickly realise the benefits of our solutions,” said Victor. “From contract signature through implementation and beyond, my focus is on refining every stage of the customer journey to drive faster ROI and help customers achieve their strategic goals with confidence.”

Insurity CEO Chris Lafond praised Victor’s expertise, stating, “Jonathan’s deep expertise and proven leadership make him the ideal person to take on the expanded responsibilities as COO. As Insurity continues to innovate and expand, his focus on operational excellence and customer success will be instrumental in helping Insurity achieve our ambitious growth objectives. With Jonathan’s leadership, we will further strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional value to our customers, ensuring their success in a rapidly evolving industry.”
