Kuady, a leading payments service processor in Latin America, has announced the launch of its physical prepaid Mastercard, providing users in Peru with an enhanced range of payment options.
This new offering builds on the success of Kuady’s virtual prepaid card, enabling secure, flexible, and convenient in-store payments.
The physical card integrates seamlessly with the Kuady app, allowing users to make purchases at any merchant accepting Mastercard by using their Kuady wallet balance. For online transactions, the virtual card remains a reliable option, ensuring users have a versatile blend of physical and digital payment methods.
This development comes after Kuady’s introduction of its virtual prepaid Mastercard in August 2024, which focused on online payments. With the physical card, merchants can now offer customers instant cash-out options, enabling real-time access to funds.
Kuady CEO Lorenzo Pellegrino said: “We’re excited to bring the physical Kuady Card to our users in Peru, where the demand for secure and versatile payment options continues to grow. Following the success of our virtual card, this launch marks another important step in expanding our services.
“The physical Kuady Card offers our customers even more convenience by enabling in-store payments, while maintaining the same level of security. We are committed to providing our users with the flexibility to manage their finances however they choose—whether online or in-store.”
