Endowus secures $17.5m to bring funding round total to $52.5m

Endowus, a leading digital wealth advisory platform in Asia, has bolstered its funding with a $52.5m round, increasing its total funding to over $110m.

The funding round was led by existing investors Prosus Ventures, UBS, and MUFG, with participation from new investors OSK Ventures, JLIN LLC, and Asia Companion Fund (ACF), the latter backed by professional basketball player Jeremy Lin.

The additional $17.5m in funding builds on the $35m raised last year. Endowus aims to use this capital to enhance its offerings, expand its services across Asia’s wealth hubs, and drive innovation in its WealthTech solutions. The company is recognised for its commitment to providing conflict-free advice and access to institutional-grade financial solutions at fair fees.

Endowus operates as a fiduciary wealth advisor and fee-only fund platform, serving individual investors, family offices, and institutions. Licensed in Singapore and Hong Kong, the platform offers a wide range of services, including investments in cash management, equities, private equity, and hedge funds. Endowus is noted for being the first digital advisor in Singapore to provide comprehensive investment solutions across cash savings, Central Provident Fund (CPF), and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) savings.

With client assets now surpassing $7bn, Endowus plans to invest heavily in talent, technology, and the adoption of artificial intelligence to enhance operational efficiency and client experiences. The platform also intends to broaden its alternative investment offerings under the Endowus Private Wealth brand, collaborating with global General Partners such as Apollo, Blackstone, and KKR.

Samuel Rhee, co-founder and chairman of Endowus, said, “Endowus’ remarkable growth over the past five years is due to the trust our customers, shareholders, partners and the community have placed in us. Our responsibility is to continuously evolve and grow to deliver value to all stakeholders.

“The commitment to bring the best global practices of transparency, integrity and fiduciary duty to our industry has brought strong support from like-minded partners who share our vision to transform the wealth management industry for the better and we are excited to welcome high-quality investors who are aligned to our mission. The focus now is to continue to invest in talent and technologies to grow well with our clients.”

Martin Tschopp, CEO of Prosus Ventures, added, “We are thrilled to reiterate our belief in Endowus with our repeat participation in funding the next leg of growth for the company. We firmly believe Endowus stands apart in this category, with its unique value propositions, exceptional team, and great execution. True innovation happens slowly and then fast.

“We look forward to the company accelerating the technological innovation, application of AI and exceptional user experience in the wealth industry across Asia.”
