Airwallex partners with ClearBank to enhance UK payment services

ClearBank, a leader in real-time clearing and embedded banking, has announced a partnership with global financial platform Airwallex.

This collaboration sees Airwallex leveraging ClearBank’s agency banking solution to introduce virtual business accounts, GBP collections, and Confirmation of Payee (CoP) functionality to its UK offering.

The integration enables Airwallex to issue virtual accounts and IBANs under its own brand, reinforcing its financial platform while maintaining a seamless customer experience. The partnership provides Airwallex access to UK payment schemes such as Faster Payments, BACS, and CHAPS, facilitating the company’s mission to simplify global financial operations for businesses of all sizes.

This collaboration is rooted in a shared ambition to leverage innovative technologies to deliver efficient financial solutions.
