Cinareo Solutions, a Toronto-based data analytics company, has secured $1m in pre-seed funding to enhance its AI-driven capacity planning solutions for the contact centre industry.
The funding round was led by BDC’s Seed Venture Fund, with additional investments from Accelia Capital and angel investor Robert Treumann.
Cinareo provides an intuitive platform designed to address the challenges of short- and long-term capacity planning, financial analysis, and recruitment within contact centres. The company aims to replace traditional spreadsheet-based planning methods with an AI-driven solution that enhances operational efficiency.
The newly secured funds will be used to advance Cinareo’s product and technology roadmap, enabling organisations to leverage purpose-built AI tools for streamlined planning processes.
Cinareo CEO Karen Elliott said, “Despite significant investment in workforce management systems, many contact centers still rely on spreadsheets for capacity planning. It’s time-consuming and inefficient, and we saw an opportunity to improve this.”
Dinar Ahmed, partner at BDC Capital’s Seed Venture Fund, commented, “AI is set to revolutionize the entire workforce management ecosystem and beyond. Cinareo’s capacity management software is paving the way, enabling scalable AI solutions. BDC is pleased to support the company’s growth and confident in its potential to impact numerous sectors in the future.”
