ACI Worldwide, a global leader in payments technology, and Co-op, a major UK convenience retailer, have announced the extension of their strategic partnership.
This agreement ensures that Co-op will continue leveraging ACI’s Payments Orchestration Platform to support its in-store, online, and mobile payment systems, including end-to-end payments and fraud management.
The partnership extension reinforces Co-op’s commitment to secure and seamless payment experiences for customers. With a network of approximately 2,400 stores across the UK, Co-op has relied on ACI’s technology to enhance its payments infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and security.

As part of this collaboration, Co-op has successfully migrated its entire stack of payments and fraud prevention software into ACI’s multi-tenant cloud platform, hosted on Microsoft Azure. This transition enhances scalability, security, and data protection, ensuring robust payment processing across all channels.
