myTU, a fully automated, AI-native, and cloud-first digital bank, has announced the launch of Google Pay for its customers.

This new feature allows individuals and businesses to add their debit cards to Google Wallet, making transactions faster, more convenient, and highly secure, according to FF News.

The introduction of Google Pay aligns with myTU’s commitment to addressing the evolving digital banking needs of its growing customer base.

With digital wallets expected to account for over 52% of global e-commerce transactions by 2025, according to Visa, this move underscores the shift towards mobile-enabled, contactless payments.

myTU offers a modern digital banking experience, leveraging artificial intelligence and cloud technology to provide seamless financial services.

The company aims to simplify banking for both individuals and businesses by offering a fully automated platform with advanced payment solutions.

The Google Pay integration enables myTU customers to make payments in stores, apps, or online using their Android devices. This eliminates the need for physical wallets, providing a fast and secure payment method.

With Google Pay’s encryption and security features, users can be assured that their card details remain protected during every transaction.

Business customers also stand to gain from this launch. Following myTU’s recent introduction of its business debit card across the European Economic Area (EEA), companies can now issue both physical and virtual Visa cards for their employees.

Adding these cards to Google Wallet allows businesses to streamline their payment processes, ensuring smoother transactions and enhanced security.

Tomas Navickas, CTO and Co-founder of myTU, said: “The launch of Google Pay is a testament to myTU’s commitment to delivering innovative, user-friendly solutions that align with our customers’ needs. If you’ve been waiting to add your myTU card to Google Wallet, now is the perfect time to experience the speed, security, and convenience it offers. As we continue to push the boundaries of financial technology, this integration is a key step toward building a more seamless and versatile payment ecosystem.”

This launch is part of myTU’s broader mission to enhance its payment solutions for both individuals and businesses. Later this year, the company plans to introduce Apple Pay support, ensuring customers have access to the most popular mobile payment platforms.
