Paysend has partnered with Tink, a Visa-owned open banking platform, to improve its payment services across international markets.

The partnership aims to provide a faster, more seamless and secure payment experience for Paysend’s customers, according to FF News.

By integrating Tink’s Open Banking infrastructure, Paysend is enhancing its ability to deliver smooth, direct bank transfers and expand its services to new markets.

The firm is known for simplifying cross-border payments through a unified global payments ecosystem. Its mission centres on reducing the complexity and cost of sending money internationally. With a presence in over 170 countries, it provides consumers with the ability to move money instantly and affordably.

Tink, which operates under Visa following its acquisition, is one of Europe’s leading Open Banking platforms.

It enables financial institutions, FinTechs and developers to access financial data and initiate payments via its secure APIs. Tink’s strength lies in its deep bank connectivity across the continent, empowering businesses to build smart, data-driven financial services.

The integration with Tink enables Paysend customers in select regions to authenticate and fund transfers directly via their bank accounts—without manual data entry or multiple security prompts. This reduces the risk of fraud, eliminates errors and accelerates the payment process.

As a result of the collaboration, Paysend users can enjoy several enhancements including broader banking coverage, quicker transaction times, and increased security.

Tink’s network allows for a smoother customer experience, enabling transfers directly from mobile devices in just a few steps.

Paysend global head of network & partnerships James Cresswell said, “At Paysend we’re constantly innovating to make Cross Border money movement as simple as possible. Integrating with Tink expands our Open Banking capabilities, ensuring our customers can fund their transfers instantly with ease and confidence.”

Tink head of payments Ian Morrin added, “We’re excited to partner with Paysend to bring secure Open Banking payments to more customers. Open Banking is transforming how people manage their money and this partnership ensures Paysend customers benefit from a more intuitive payment experience.”
