Achilles and Green Project unite to drive decarbonisation across global supply chains

Green Project Technologies, a supply chain carbon accounting and renewable energy procurement platform, and Achilles, a global provider of supply chain risk and performance management solutions, have formed a strategic partnership aimed at transforming enterprise climate strategies.

The collaboration is designed to simplify the management of Scope 3 emissions by combining Green Project’s carbon measurement tools with Achilles’ supply chain data, giving organisations actionable insights to accelerate progress toward decarbonisation.

Green Project Technologies helps businesses scale sustainability efforts by integrating carbon accounting into operational processes. Its platform supports supplier engagement and renewable energy procurement, offering credible data to advance net zero targets. Meanwhile, Achilles has over 30 years of experience in enhancing supply chain transparency and mitigating risk, specialising in ESG compliance, carbon management and supplier resilience.

By linking Green Project’s precise carbon data with Achilles’ sustainability scoring, enterprises will gain a deeper understanding of their suppliers’ environmental impact. This transition from passive emissions tracking to active carbon reduction supports science-based goals and enhances long-term resilience.

The partnership also delivers value to suppliers, offering tools to assess and reduce their own emissions. Suppliers can improve their Achilles sustainability ratings and gain visibility among large buyers seeking verified low-carbon partners. This transparency not only enhances their competitiveness but also opens doors to new commercial opportunities.

Achilles is backed by Bridgepoint, a global private asset growth investor, which invested in 2021 and supports the company’s global expansion. Bridgepoint also holds a minority stake in ACT Group, the parent company of Green Project Technologies, underscoring its commitment to sustainability-focused technology investments.

Green Project CEO and founder Sam Stark said, “This collaboration with Achilles represents a pivotal step forward in our mission to democratize carbon accounting and enhance supply chain sustainability. By enabling both corporations and their suppliers to seamlessly integrate emissions measurement into their operations, we are not only fostering transparency but also driving real, scalable environmental action.”

Achilles CEO Dr Paul Stanley said, “In many industry sectors, supply chains hold the key to real progress on climate. This new partnership with Green Project enables our customers to go beyond surface-level data and take meaningful, measurable action, building more resilient, transparent, and sustainable supply chains at scale.”
