Crédit Coopératif eyes acquisition of Anytime to boost digital offering for associations

Crédit Coopératif has entered exclusive talks with Orange Bank, the digital banking arm of Orange Group, regarding a potential acquisition of Anytime, a FinTech focused on providing services to associations and non-profits.

The agreement, formalised through a memorandum of understanding, marks a strategic step in Crédit Coopératif’s ambition to scale its digital capabilities and deepen its ties with the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) sector.

The acquisition is part of Crédit Coopératif’s “100% committed” roadmap for 2025–2030, which outlines a vision to accelerate digital transformation while enhancing services tailored to associations. By integrating Anytime’s digital tools, the bank aims to offer a seamless, end-to-end experience to small and medium-sized organisations, especially in managing expenses and card operations.

Crédit Coopératif CEO Pascal Pouyet said, “To achieve its growth ambitions by 2030, Crédit Coopératif aims to strengthen its digital offering, particularly for its small and medium-sized association clients. Anytime offers simple and innovative services that perfectly meet the new needs of this clientele.”

Anytime, founded in 2014 and acquired by Orange Bank in 2020, initially served small businesses and professionals before sharpening its focus on associations in recent years. The platform provides modern account management and payment solutions, including expense tracking features designed specifically for the non-profit sector.

Orange Bank CEO Frédéric Niel said, “We are pleased to have initiated these discussions with Crédit Coopératif, a cooperative bank that has a catalogue of offers that are fully complementary with that of Anytime. After a development period supported by Orange Bank, this opportunity allows Anytime to continue its evolution, especially in the Social and Solidarity Economy markets.”

If completed, the acquisition will help Crédit Coopératif grow its market share in the association sector, targeting over 6% of newly created associations by 2030. The bank will also be able to scale up its remote and digital services, while supporting large SSE organisations through enhanced financial tools.
