Guardz bags $56m to expand AI-native cybersecurity for SMBs

Guardz, a cybersecurity firm focused on empowering Managed Service Providers (MSPs), has raised $56m in a Series B funding round.

The company provides an AI-native, unified platform to help MSPs protect small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) from cyber threats.

The funding round was led by ClearSky, with new participation from Phoenix Financial and support from existing investors including Glilot Capital Partners, SentinelOne, Hanaco Ventures, iAngels, GKFF Ventures, and Lumir. This brings Guardz’s total funding to $84m in just over two years.

Guardz’s platform is designed to streamline cybersecurity operations by combining detection, response, and prevention into a single, scalable solution. It includes 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR), automated threat hunting, and integrations with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. By unifying fragmented tools, the platform reduces manual effort and enhances threat detection across identities, email, endpoints, cloud, and data.

The new funding will support Guardz’s expansion in the US, bolster its R&D, and fuel the development of its next-generation platform. This includes enhanced automation, cyber compliance, and insurance capabilities tailored to SMBs.

Guardz CEO and co-founder Dor Eisner said, “This funding propels Guardz forward in our mission to bring enterprise-level cybersecurity to SMBs, and to continue to empower MSPs with unified security controls and automated detection and response. MSPs are the first line of defense for these organizations – the engine of the global economy – and we are excited to continue providing them with our best-in-class platform, to ensure that businesses are not only secured and insured, but can thrive.”

ClearSky managing partner Alex Weiss said, “Guardz has built an exceptional solution that directly addresses a critical and underserved need in the market at a very exciting time for technology. Their AI-native approach, seamless integrations, and relentless focus on the MSP ecosystem has led to rapid growth and uniquely positions them to continue to lead this space. We are proud to support Guardz as they scale their impact and set a new standard for cybersecurity in this critical segment of the economy.”
