Calero unveils automation for LSEG Refinitiv entitlements

Calero has launched a fully automated solution designed to simplify the management of LSEG’s Refinitiv Data Platform (Hosted) entitlements.

The new system introduces API integration and eBonding capabilities that eliminate many of the manual processes previously required, offering heads of market data and other leaders far greater visibility and control.

Historically, managing entitlements for the Refinitiv Data Platform involved a heavily manual process. Access requests, modifications, and cancellations typically required a series of phone calls, emails with LSEG account representatives, or manual order entries via LSEG’s portals. Calero’s latest capabilities now fully automate these tasks, eliminating the need for email-based workflows and manual reconciliation. The result is real-time entitlement visibility, minimisation of human error, and the introduction of straight-through processing.

Calero vice president/general manager Alistair Brooker said, “These enhancements represent a major step forward in Calero’s vision to eliminate manual processes from market data management.

“With the LSEG Hosted Access integration, customers receive the comprehensive automation they’ve long demanded – from real-time visibility into their inventory to straight-through change processing. We will continue to provide firms of all sizes with solutions to be smarter, faster, and in more control of their data.”

The move comes at a time when financial institutions and energy trading companies face mounting pressure to manage vast and expensive market data inventories. Many spend in excess of $500m annually on these services while also grappling with stringent compliance obligations and complex audit requirements. Calero’s Market Data Management platform helps firms meet these challenges by improving transparency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Calero’s broader suite of solutions sits within its Technology Business Management platform, which supports organisations in optimising technology spend across multiple domains. Its Technology Expense Management offering focuses on spend optimisation for market data, telecom, mobile, SaaS, and more. The Technology Lifecycle Management solution provides end-to-end asset management, covering procurement through to retirement, while its Managed Technology Services help automate and maximise IT resource efficiency.
