AXA Global Healthcare, a leading provider of international private medical insurance (IPMI), has appointed James Swatton as senior distribution leader in Hong Kong, signalling its commitment to growth across Asia’s fast-expanding IPMI market.
The company specialises in offering flexible, client-focused international health insurance solutions for expatriates and globally mobile individuals, tailoring coverage to meet diverse healthcare needs worldwide, according to InsurTech Insights.
In his role, Swatton will strengthen the Hong Kong team, drive regional growth, and collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to deliver strategic distribution initiatives supporting AXA’s expansion goals.
Swatton brings over 15 years’ experience in Asia’s IPMI sector, including senior leadership roles at Bupa as head of commercial sales and head of client management, as well as business development and general management positions at a regional insurance broker in Hong Kong.
