InComm and Atleos bring cardless cash to 23,000 ATMs

InComm Payments has joined forces with NCR Atleos to deliver cardless cash pickup services at more than 23,000 ATMs across the United States, aiming to widen self-service financial access for consumers and financial institutions.

The move sees InComm Payments adopting Atleos’ ReadyCode API, which is designed to allow FinTech and banking partners to offer cardless withdrawals using a simple, secure code sent directly through the apps customers already trust.

InComm Payments is recognised for its work in providing advanced payment platforms and emerging FinTech solutions that help businesses scale across sectors including retail, healthcare, tolling and transit, digital currencies and financial services. By enabling alternative payment methods and omnichannel experiences, the company supports businesses in creating smoother commerce experiences globally.

The Atleos ReadyCode API allows InComm Payments to leverage an extensive ATM network integrated with a secure API that facilitates cardless cash withdrawals. This technology is already live in ATMs situated within leading retail outlets across more than 40 states and over 70 major US population centres.

InComm Payments vice president of product John Houseal said, “Atleos’ ReadyCode API offering provides an additional modality and channel for our money movement partners and their consumers to access cash in a self-service manner at ATMs located at some of the nation’s most convenient retailers. This service expands our cash out network in a new way, connecting our partners with differentiated access to serve their customers beyond the counter.”

Atleos senior vice president, global network solutions Ben Bregman said, “Enabling InComm Payments’ broad and deep program relationships with access to the ReadyCode solution will provide more flexibility for consumers to transact where and how they want, without the need of a card.

“This relationship will also provide additional use cases to drive utilization of the ATM for increasingly digital first providers beyond traditional financial institutions, and continue to fulfill on our promise to our retail partners to drive incremental foot traffic to their stores.”
